Duncraig Edible Garden
We are a community garden on public land in the City of Joondalup, in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. Our Community and Garden are based on Permaculture Values (Ethics and Principles).
Earth Care, People Care, and Fair Share.
We value sustainable and regenerative living.
DEG people meet every fortnight on alternate Saturday mornings between 9am and 12 noon.
You are welcome to come and garden with us.
The Calendar of events to the right shows when we meet next.
ADDRESS: The garden is located at the forecourt of the Duncraig Library,
Cnr Warwick Road and Marmion Avenue, Duncraig
and within the Percy Doyle reserve precinct.
This map shows where to find us.
If you have profound disabilities and want to give back to the community by gardening, you are welcome to visit us on a DEG day (Saturday morning) accompanied by your support worker or carer to talk with us about becoming involved. We are not a service provider. We are not able to help during the week. We are all volunteers working together on Saturday mornings to grow food and community. Everyone is welcome to take a tiny taste, or just enough for one meal. Please Join us on Saturdays to share the harvest.
We acknowledge the Whadjuk Noongar people who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. We acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region.
